These terms govern use of pemfanswers.com (and the aliases pemfuk.com, www.pemfanswers.com, www.pemfuk.com — collectively "the site"), operated by the PEMF UK Editorial Team in the United Kingdom. By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
2. Content is editorial, not medical advice
The content on this site is editorial information about Pulsed Electromagnetic Field therapy and related magnetic-stimulation modalities. It is not medical advice and it is not a substitute for advice from a qualified medical practitioner. You should consult your GP, specialist or specialist nurse before starting, stopping, or modifying any treatment, including PEMF or rTMS. Do not delay seeking medical advice because of something you have read on this site.

3. PEMF is not a cure
PEMF therapy is not a cure for any condition. Where we summarise published clinical evidence, we do so as informed editorial commentary on third-party research. Where the evidence base is small, mixed, or absent, we say so. Where regulators have ruled against treatment claims (e.g. UK ASA upheld complaints in our field), we cite the ruling. Where NICE has explicitly recommended against a treatment outside a clinical trial (e.g. NG97 on transcranial magnetic stimulation for Alzheimer's), we cite the recommendation.
4. Clinic directory disclaimer
The site operates a directory of UK PEMF clinics. Inclusion in the directory is editorial — we have set listing terms (see clinic listing terms) but we do not vet, endorse, audit, or guarantee any individual clinic, treatment, practitioner, premises or device. We do not have a commercial relationship beyond the directory listing. Decisions to use any listed clinic are entirely the user's own. Disputes between users and listed clinics are between those parties, not with PEMF UK.
If you have a concern about a listed clinic — for example, treatment claims made on the clinic's website that you believe breach UK ASA rules — please raise it with the clinic first. If unresolved you may report it to the Advertising Standards Authority. You may also tell us at [email protected]. We will review the listing under our clinic listing terms and may remove the listing if appropriate. We do not commit to remove listings on demand and we do not commit to mediate disputes.
5. Outbound links
The site contains outbound links to clinic websites (via tracked redirects at pemfanswers.com/go/[slug]), primary research databases (PubMed, PMC, journal pages), regulatory bodies (NICE, MHRA, ASA, NHS, FDA) and condition charities (Alzheimer's Society, Parkinson's UK, MS Society UK). We are not responsible for the content of external sites. The presence of an outbound link does not imply endorsement.
6. Accuracy and updates
We use reasonable editorial care to keep content accurate and up to date — every page carries a "Last reviewed" date and is reviewed at least every six months. The clinical evidence base for PEMF and magnetic stimulation evolves; some content may be out of date between reviews. We do not warrant that the site is error-free or current at every moment. To the maximum extent permitted by UK law, PEMF UK is not liable for any direct, indirect, consequential, incidental, or special loss or damage arising from use of the site or reliance on its content, including (but not limited to) any decision to use, not use, delay, accelerate, or modify any medical treatment. This limitation does not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.

8. No professional relationship
Using this site does not create any doctor-patient relationship, clinician-patient relationship, or professional advisory relationship between you and PEMF UK. We do not provide consultations, second opinions, diagnoses, treatment plans, or referrals.
9. Intellectual property
The editorial content of this site (text, page structure, evidence summaries) is © 2026 PEMF UK. Quotations from primary research, regulatory documents, and charity publications are used under fair dealing / fair use for review and commentary. You may share short quotations with attribution and a link back to the page; please do not reproduce entire pages.
10. Privacy
We use minimal analytics (no personal data) on the site to understand which pages are read and which clinic listings are clicked. We do not sell, share, or trade any user data. Clinics in the directory receive aggregate click counts on their listings; no individual visitor data is shared with them.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be flagged on the home page for a reasonable period. Continued use of the site after a change implies acceptance of the updated terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
